N1 V2 Seat Discussion

cheers for all the comments and help lads appreciate it loads, another question, is it the same material on the door cards as the seats or is it different but same colour, just my autech obviously has same material all over, but some pictures ive seen of the n1 v2 the door cards look like a harder material to the orange bits in the seats?
Looking at some pics i've got of the Version 2 interior it appears to be the same material. I'd have thought that it would be the same. On my Type R (FN2) it has the same type of material on both the seats and door cards as what is on the V2 seats but Dark Red. It's a kind of netting type material.

yeah i know what you mean rob as i had the new honda too, and it was like a netting on the door cards, but i thought thats what i could see on the v2 door cards aswell, but not like it on the seats, they look smooth etc
Yeah there's 2 main problems which I encountered last time I considered doing this when I owned Dale's Autech.
1# I couldn't source the Orange material from anywhere that was identical to what was used on the Version 2.
2# I Thought the Seats were much too heavy.
I used the R33 seats which are slightly different to the R32. They have Purple inserts behind your head and different fabric. I think something has been done to the seats to reduce the weight.
Possibly different seat rails as was mentioned earlier. It's interesting to hear that Nismo may have been involved in making the V2 interior. Perhaps there is more to the V2 seats than we know as there seems to be a lot of little Nismo touches on the Version 1's so perhaps Nismo further tweaked the seats to suit the Pulsar rather than just re-covering them.

and rich i know you got quoted but did they have spot on colours to replicate the v2 stuff, and what about the mesh grid look on the front door cards etc?
and rob is there many pictures of the interior in this brochure? or is it only that little picture in bottom rightNice one, i'd love to see that catologue. I've got a Version 2 brochure and they are in that.

yeah no probs mate cheers if you can sometime and they look quite dark, if not black compared to other pictures if seen, do you think they come with different background colours on the seats
haha picture not working mate lol, yeah i notice now its a net thoI think it was mentioned above about the pattern of the material on the seats. Its sort of netting. This is the clearest interior pic I could of a v2. Can see the pattern when you click on the pic.

ive also found a set of r32 gtr seats for £200
or if they sell before i can get the money, theres a set in america for £215 with no custom charges etcnah im gona do it properly, im sure ill be able to get the mesh net look as they still out on todays cars like the civic etc,
is it me the rear bench looks alittle higher in the middle ans on the sides to say for example the autech etc..
