N1 V2 Seat Discussion

Just sat in mine now and the lower part of the rear bench it's the same as Autech or vzr. The top appears to be a single piece?

oh yeah ive never noticed that when ive been burning my screen looking at the last couple of photos of the seats lol, but yeah it does look like one whole bench, good spot rob lol, but you say it looks the same tho, not a tad higher or owt

cheers for that sam, would love to see a good close up of the weave, just to see what version of basket weave has been used, do you by any small chance have a picture like that? or who has the n1 v2 these days, so i can see if they can do a photo of a close up

not quite as there different size weaves etc and shapes in it, if i can would like a nice clean shot of the weave pattern up close

Right I went to the scrapyard today and there were 7 Almeras in including 2 poverty spec 3 doors. So I had a look at the rears. The bottom half of the N1 seat is definitely the same as the Vz-r rear and the top half appears to be the same as the poverty spec UK rear.
Can any Version 2 owners confirm that the top half of the rear seat is either 1 or 2 pieces?
The N1 rear door cards are identical to the poverty spec cards. I bought a set, there's another set if you want them Wolverine.
The fronts appear to be the same as the poverty spec model but just trimmed in Orange.
I also picked up some manual door winders as I'm gonna convert mine to save weight like I did with the last one.
All the manual front door cards were worn out or damaged.

the rear of the V2 looks more comparable to the POV spec pulsar seats, one piece bench with different stitching and 1 piece rear seat with no head rests. Like so:

Which are unlike the VZR rear seats

Few over here, inn fact a 4x4 pulsar saloon only sold for €250 in the last week, gutted i missed it :( it was diesel but would have been a good daily driver

I think ye have it right lads rear bench is one piece, bottom half is the same as all... door cards are pov spec front and back. Just went out to the car there a while ago these are the clearest pics of the orange I could get

@wolverene: yep I have a v2 i'd go so far as to say half the pics in the thread are of my interior.

There isn't actually Black in them, it's the shadow as you look through the material. It's the same fabric as my Type R interior.

If you wanted to re-create it perfectly you'll need to find a poverty spec Pulsar for the back seat mate, a UK spec rear seat won't fit.

The Autech back lower seat is clipped in at each side same as a VZ-R. The top half also locks in place differently to the UK spec.
You'd be better off re-covering your Autech rear bench. It won't be an exact replica but would still look good and would fit perfectly.

I'm not sure of the name of the actual material but it's a lattice type fabric and looks almost identical to the material used on my Type R seats and doorcards only Orange not Dark Red.

If I decide to have a go at replicating the interior i'd probably go for the same Orange centre section material with alcantara outers in the same shade of Grey to the N1 Version 2 seats............but only if I can find the right Orange fabric!;)

If it's a sythetic fabric then you should be able to find a matching colour and then get it perforated to match. The good thing is that starting from scratch you don't actually have to 'match' the original as such. It's just a replica of it.wrc and stuff have perforated leather seat centres so you would assume that they could do a plain fabric also. Unless there is a weave forming the holes, like lace?
