N15 Series 2 Sedan

Looks like you just carved away at a regular rubber splitter that you normally see on front bumper or am I wrong? Want to give any clues as to what your thinking of using? ;)

Yeah, haha, that's pretty much what I did. :turned: I used 4WD arch flare from our local rubber supplier.

I don't want to give too much away, because I have a habit of jinxing it, but it follows the lines of my skirts... :whistling:

Ahhh i get ya mate, hopefully you didnt jinx it for yourself :D I like your rubber splitter idea, Might just get a rubber spliter get it how i like then spray it to match...... When I get my saloon that is lol

Haha yeah I hope not.

Thanks man. It was only a quick fix to see if it could be done, but I quite liked it. Because they were rubber I don't know if paint would have stuck to them.

Saloons are sooo much better than hatches. Haha. When are you getting it?

Well even if i could get a flexible splitter like the front of the ph2 GTi or Pulsar SSS over there, that should be easily painted...I think lol
Have you a side on shot of the car with the DIY splitters just to get an idea of how well it followed the skirts?

Haha I guess if they're done really well (i.e. like yours :P ) they can be nicer or as nice as hatches.
I'm hoping to have one in the next few weeks and carry out an SR20 swap before I put it on the road. I have a GTi hatch at the moment and its rusted like crazy and has a gearbox problem too so it just made sense to just scrap the shell and swap it to something else and I wanted it to be a little different :D

Haha should do... Our SSS's didn't come with any splitters from the factory unfortunately... :(

Here's a pretty old side on shot...

Again, not perfect I know, but it's alright.

Haha thanks man. My brother (yatesy.15) has a hatch, and I actually really like them... An SR20 in a saloon would be awesome. I would love to do an SR conversion of some description myself.

Saloons are definitely a little different, should be a nice little project for you. :)

Goodluck man

Nah man, we have nothing at all on our SSSs. Not even a rubber splitter... Guys like my brother get VZ-R lips, but other than that nothing...

Haha that was a really old pic, but I agree with you there, it would look awesome if a few things were fixed. :zoidberg:

That SR20DET saloon is actually being broken up now... the owner is moving on... There are a few other really nice saloons out there though. Inspiration! haha

gorg car pal, really loving the kolor too.

Thanks champ. The colour is unbelievable in the mornings, when the sun hits it from side on. I'll try and get some good pics soon :D

Cheers
Chris

Yep, I jinxed it... Looks like it's not going to happen. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

Awww such a pity mate, ah well, onwards and upwards :)

Maybe try justin from partsguru.nz to see if he can source you some of the bits, he's really helpful, efficient and all around nice guy, he might have a contact that would know :punk:

Yeah, I've been getting bits and pieces off Justin for a little
over 18 months... Great guy, brilliant service, and always willing
to help. ;)

I'll figure something out... I have a couple of parts cabinets with bit and pieces in there. Haha.
