N15 Series 2 Sedan

Loving the pattern mate :tt2:

Thanks man.

Yep, auto... :P

prefer this interior than the blue parts!
mine is also automatic with ga15de and i thing it goes too slow... how about yours?

Yeah, its pretty slow... I have a GA16DE with an exhaust, extractors and a high flowing intake and its not overly fast... :P

The electric window switches look awesome :D

Thanks bro ;)

Yeah really great job....on one side lol

What do you mean by one side? Both of them are the same??

actually GA engines are not slow! automatic gearboxes make them to have a slow acceleration! i have been to an almera with GA14 witn manual gearbox and it was having a very fast acceleration!!

It's really hard to tell from that picture that the other side is done, the carbon does look cool though, wish my car was that clean :(

haha, I never do things by halves... ;) The rear window switches are carbon trim'd as well ;)

ninja edit:shuriken:

car looks cracking mate!

Thanks mate. :thumbs:

hmmm, i still wouldn't call it fast, but obviously a manual makes better use of power...:whistling:

Do a manual conversion...and while your at it, sure why not just throw in an SR lump for good measure and skip all the boring stuff :tt2:

hmmm ill see how my funds are looking this weekend but I may be able to spare €1 for the swap :clown:

How did the rear beam build go? or have you done it yet?

Haha thanks man,

I don't want to jinx it anymore, but I've been a lot busier than I expected, so the beam is still on the car... :(

Hae mate, Love your car, i was just wondering what Japanese website sis you get the momo steering wheel from ??

I have had this in storage for a while and waited until I had finished exams before I installed it...

With the help of my brother (fellow PGA forum member yatesy.15), this is the end result.

I realise that It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I have wanted one for a while...

I got it off Yahoo Auctions Japan. Through a proxy bidding site called Rinkya. It was a few years back now though...

Thanks mate, nah, I actually bought it brand new through my local Nissan dealer. I'll give you the part number if you're still interested.

Sorry for the delay in replying...

So... it's been far too long between drinks. Here is an update...

My car hasn't been getting much attention as I now have a 2013 Ford Ranger for work, but I have managed to do some bits and pieces with her...

Starting with a 30th anniversary CJ-I rear sedan garnish... These things are super rare, and I have only ever seen 2 of them. One of them is on the rear of my car;

Terrible pic I know, but I will get a good one at some point.

I managed to get my hand on a pair of AD22VF SSS/GTi front calipers;

which I managed to take apart and rebuild;

and with this,

some time and elbow grease, I managed to build this;

and this;

I haven't installed them on my car yet, but I've ordered some braided brake lines to complete the upgrade...

Furthermore, this weekend I took my front door off because of this;

yeah, it's baaaaaaad;

and swapped it with this;

The colour is absolutely spot on... it looks a little off, because i polished it before it went on, but it is a perfect match. I have since installed my JDM slimline weather shield on the door as well.

I should have a couple more updates in the future, but for now, thanks for reading.

Cheers

Always loved this car. Been a personal favourite since signing up a few years ago. Glad to see you're still giving it love :)

Oh and BTW, I got your Pm over on PGA, thanks for the number man.

Gorgeous Chris. Not browsed on PGA for a while now so good to see the car is still going strong :)

Sweet sedan you got there, really love the work on the rear axis, looks like new.

Thanks mate. It was surprising how little I had to do to it to clean it up... Just removed a little surface rust, dirt and some spider webs... near enough to new!

Thanks all. :)

Can I ask something, if you don't mind? Where was the rear roof spoiler taken from? Is it an aftermarket or something entirely custom? Did you drill through the glass or is it just some good glue?

And how came the rust so suddenly?

Its actually connected to some plastic brackets that came with it then the brackets are stuck onto the rear window with EXTREMELY sticky double sided tape.

I actually got it brand new in the box from Nissan and its made in Australia... It came with a bottle of adhesion promoter and cleaner, so its not coming off... :p

If you were interested I can get you one? It may be quite tricky to get to you tho because the box is quite large...
