Ok so its been a while since the last update... I have some more additions on the way...
I scored some VZ-R hatch JDM power folding mirrors really cheap. I have installed the passenger side one and the interior switch. I'm waiting on another switch which includes the plug which did not come with the mirrors.
As these were the 3 door model mirrors, the triangle brackets which attach to the door are a different size to that of the 4/5 door models. I took the entire folding mirrors and a pair of donor SLX mirrors apart and transplanted the motor/folding mirror mechanism over to the SLX casing.
I also changed over the 5pin JDM plug from the mirror to the 3pin AUDM plug and added some QC connectors in order to keep the original door loom wiring.
I routed the wiring to the folding mirrors through the door loom connected to the interior of the cabin and to the switch.
I have some other goodies on order and some exciting additions coming soon.
