why would that be an issue as you can see from the thread Ed is trying to push the boundaries and so far pressure is just under 3 bar and from all indications will be safely tried and tested.

There are precious few turbos that can deliver 3 bar. Even fewer which will fit between the engine and radiator in an Almera.
3 Bar absolute is 2 bar gauge. That is still pushing the limits of a single stage VNT, but doing so in a sane manner.

Yeah it's within the tolerances of the hybrid turbo. I would never run this much pressure through a stock turbo. 1.8 BAR gauge (2.8 BAR absolute) is where it's at.
