Heard this after startup and sounds epic didn't quite check out the tip though as was dark by time I remembered.

I have been reading some threads & finished in 3-4 minz this 1 might take 3-4 days!! Cars looking & sounding amazing Edk. Just wondering why you had the manual heater in a pic I saw with the intercooler weight saving...?? Oh & where can I get a bosch battery from like your's..? Thanks
 
Just a quick note, this thing sounds awesome in person. When you were giving passenger rides at Blackpool it actually sounded like a boxer engine. You'd never guess it was a diesel making that noise! Well done man, keep the mods coming!!

Theirs so many pages I can't remember, I think it was a pic of the cooler & lots of bit & bobs (pipes etc) around it & I spotted the manual heater controls unless I was seeing things..?? Let me see if I can find the page no...
 
Ah I know. Yeah that was a big parts photos of planned upgrades/mods, but there is also an R33 climate control module there which I plan to try and use first. The manual controls are my backup in case I can't wire in the R33 ones to work.
 
What's the need to change the original N16 Climate control..? Or Just want to do something different..?
 
It's not about the climate control, it's about making space for gauges, and having an aftermarket head unit. Then audio playback in the SXE is very limited in that it can ONLY do audio CDs (not MP3s on a CD even), and because the climate control and sat nav are all interlinked you have to change them all to change one. So I've been wanting for a while now to sort this out.
 
Oh I get it now sorry, do you reckon the same info you get like mpg etc will show..? Oh & where can I get a bosch battery from..? Cheers

No as that something's else completely. It's all part of the built in system. You can buy a gauge that plugs in to the ODB port for the same readings, or buy something like Torque on your Android phone or tablet and use a bluetooth dongle in the ODB port.

I got my battery from my local garage. I wouldn't know where else to buy one sorry dude.
 
Tis lovely. I do still miss that colour. Hence the avatar really. But having the black has inspired me to do new things like the VZR kit and tino bumper that's on the way. Things the grey never needed but would still look awesome on.

So for 2012 I'd like to refurb my Type-C's. The gold is nice but I'd like a change, and as I'm doing DIY I may well go back to it next year. Thinking for options silver, gunmetal, dark gunmetal or black.
