Just to show you how the earth strap to the chassis and gearbox can break. Mine was nearly completely gone. I've replaced it with the welded one I had fixed from my grey car, and cleaned up the contacts.

Always a gd thing to wrap any exposed bits with electrical tape. Had an AA guy lecture me about this a few weeks ago when my battery died on me and he saw exposed wires.

I can measure the one that broke tomorrow, it'll be easier for me to do as it's off the car. Will PM you Pel.

Treated wishbones with a coat of Dinitrol. Hopefully they won't rust up in future now.

Assembled N16 Almera-P12 Primera passenger shaft





All together and loosely fitted the brakes to test. Waiting for disc bells to be drilled.

Also note the extended ball joints and anti-bumpsteer track rod ends.







Looking pretty fresh under there now







Engine all bolted up, just coolant pipes and air pipes now.

Yeah and tbh I'm glad I've waited until now (until the drivers side driveshaft was nearing done) because I've been able to keep all the parts inside and dry.
