N16 DCi-R

Loads better with front engine mount bolt disconnected. Want to put standard back on though. Vibrations at idle still being transmitter through bracket though. Will remove poly completely like Liam did.

Clutch judder is minimal at low rpm (below 1100rpm), but above that it's smooth and positive but not too abrupt. Feels good.

HLSD is awesome as expected. Loads of pull and grip in and out of corners no matter how tight and even needs a lot of throttle to spin wheels in the wet.

All the other chassis mods, the car feels so sure footed now. It was good before but this is a whole new experience now.

Turbo is good but need FCD set up for 2bar to make the most of it as only running max MAP pressure right now (1.5bar).

Brakes are positive and progressive.

Mapping tweak and FCD setup next.

Hats off man, a heck of alot of work gone in to this in such a small space of time! Enjoy the Ride.

Would them half Energy Suspension 'inserts' help with lessening the vibrations and still serving their purpose?

Honestly don't know if that would be any better. I've drilled holes in the one I have so might just be the same.

A Primera owner has done this to theirs which I'm going to give a go, might allow for more compliance on idle.

Wax. Got Poor Boys, will add like 3 coats. I dont want to lacquer them as I want a proper refurb next year for show season. The lips have some kerbing that needs repairing. but also it can corrode under the lacquer. Keep them polished and it's all good.

Yup. Always liked purple, in this type of shade, but will have to see if I like it on the car/wheels or not. Was going to play it safe and go silver, but as I say...
