New rubber gasket arrived today so I decided to fit the painted valve cover !
Think an oil change Is due !
And fitted !
Think I might flat off the lettering to finish off ?
Just a little update on progress so far ! Ive taken fossil fuels rotten BPO turbo from him so I could use the turbo lump and transplant into the BS7 ! Everything has now been swapped !
And today was to be the big start up ! However i cant get her to start and I have these codes on the Rvit reader it shows 2 codes thats engine immobiliser faults, fuel pressure reg showing no pressure so no fuel supply so could it be either the bs7 ph2 alarm is stopping it from firing or the lack of the cobra alarm from ph1 is preventing firing ? I know it's pretty vague but any help would be fantastic ! Take a look at the video !
Turbo ecu, turbo nats, turbo chip plus green and white boxes from turbo are in aswell, im 99 percent sure fuel lines are but that wouldn't stop fuel pump priming its deffo immobiliser related im gonna swap the white and green boxes back over tomorrow and see if they're causing any hassle
Don't think those boxes matter. You should really take the fuel pipe off somewhere and check for fuel on ignition. Then if you do, whip a spark plug out, hold it against the block or manifold using some pliers and crank, checking for spark. Then get back to us.
I had a similar problem when I did the autech conversion. Fuel pump wasnt sending any fuel, i found that the fuse had blown near the steering column. After that it fired up. I think you should check yours if you havnt already done so.
Exactly. Forget NATS for now, just check that your fuel pump is working and that you're getting a spark. Without us knowing this we're really just guessing.
