You guys are correct, selling it as a whole would be a lot better and would give somebody the chance to get it to 100% again.

Update:
Cleared my car through MOT today. Completely refreshed the front end (links, bushes, full wishbones etc) and it turns out there was hardly any rust whatsoever on the underside so there wasn't much to weld.
Cost me fair but i'm pretty fecking chuffed. The handling is awesome now, just not going to drive it as i will get too attached to it. Just going to figure out a good price to put it on sale for.

Just had the same conversation with this muppet but he wont agree. Although to a certain extent I think it is time for him to move on to a different car, even I have offered to buy it off him and garage it :lol:
