it looks brand new theres still all the writing the engine builders put on when they were assembling.. also the chain still has its yellow link.. not a single bit of oil build up anywhere! im gona clean the engine to within an inch of its life before it goes in so its looking mega pimp..
slowly lol i have managed to source a full engine bay wiring lom and ECU from an VZ-R so i should be ale to just plug and play the electronics.. no need for a greddy mss ect just plug in the engine bay loom to the interior loom..
i just need to find a GTi gearbox driveshafts and all the engine mounts and i can do the swap much like shaggy master..
okay so this nice box arrived today thanks to charls dunnam (snikers) for those in the know on SR20 fourm containing a full engine harness loom from a VZR or similar SR16VE engined N15
sweet VVL solenoid plugs
also came with all the sensoprs for the block
and as a bonus looks like it should be direct plug and play for with the body loom :-
same two plugs for the GA as you can see form this pic i stole from jo
the good thing about this is the nats wont interfear as they dont have it on jap cars as far as i know..
on a sad note i found two rust holes one on each sill and the rear arches need attention only slight but need some so gona see how much te get that sorted at a body shop..
right iv been prepping my engine ready for going in soon...
new lightweight flywheel thrown on and clutch :-
also started adding the wiring loom.. this was abit time consuming the new loom is awsome it has all the clips and everything still in tact unlike the people who took the loom of the engine who just went round with a pair of cutters and left half of the loom took some time but its looking really tidy like stock which is what i wanted
