More smoke means too much fuel/not enough air. Perhaps the new cone filter isn't as efficient as the standard airbox.

Ahh right got ya, would putting a direct feed on help it or just buy a panel filter and lose the addictive noise :/

So after having the cone filter on for couple weeks, iv just put standard air box back on for when travelling to england In couple of days, noticed it feels alot slower and not as sharp on the throttle. Would the cone filter really make a noticeable difference? Always been told it just creates noise :/

Some do help, some just make noise and lose power, there was a thread about years ago that compared different brands

Wee update: finally got my roof wrapped and decided to go with skate stickerbomb style, took me forever to do it and never again lol gained a few grey hairs. But few pics being loaded now
