Turbo or SR20VE

Yeh 2.1. Give abit more torque but still keep it revvy.

I'll probably do a set of bike bodies with custom adapter/runners. Probably have a go on the DE next year but gotta go standalone first. aargh it's never ending.
 
i keep saying about a turbo VE next year but the BC 2.3 stroker kit, high comp, wappy cammed n/a VE is still at the back of my mind :lol: to add to it, mazworx is starting on some VE FWD goodies including custom intake manifolds god damn him!!

Thats what i keep thinking of! BC stroker would be nice but with 92mm pistons and darton sleeves would make it 2.4!!
I sent mazworx an email about there custom intake but no reply, be great to see more mods for a ve.

I honestly think a low boost turbo set-up is whats wanted in this instance for 2 main reasons..

Simple and reliable.. using engine thats already there..

You can get a few places in UK to do this for you.. Drive in and drive out..

Spec would not be ground breaking.. but low power.. loads of torque.. 6psi.. 220-240ish bhp scope for much more in future..

VVL will get you huge kudos on here, because its hard to do and/or gives a rarity..certainly not monster power, its Civic Type R stuff..?...

... its certainly not straight forward.

Both are much fun.
 
ian mine just has stock 20VE bottom end and stock 16VE head

yeh poc i was thinking 89.5mm pistons as they are off the shelf, 92mm will be custom, but 2.4 high comp VE with the keford 184-C = win :)

How much would ya be talking for the low boost turbo conversion..? drive in and drive out job! :D, would it matter that my car has 113k miles... :roll:
