-Twilight- Pulsar JN15 VZ-R N1 "Scarlet"

Really enjoying this thread, not many still putting as much love into the n15 chassis anymore. At least on our side of europe it certainly is a dying breed!

Fuck I want that steering wheel!! Where the hell can I get one?!

Ebay mate, ebay... If you dare to come to Greece, I 'll give it to you for free :p

I have one of those steering wheels in my shed. Don't know of any upholsters though.

Upholsters? You mean those that modify them and put leather, eh?

This car is one babe magnet!
That along with your rugged good looks, you must have all the young pretty girls leaving damp patches on your seats.

Here comes the moment of truth... and that's because here in Greece car fans are either inexperienced or too tied with the shitty Audis and bucketwagens. So far I didn't observe my car being admired as much as I would expect from those inexperienced kiddies. Some people are indeed looking at me, with not paying too much attention. Most people liked the brakes, some other the unique setup of the rear struts. I so much want from someone to say, "OMG that motor sounds awesome".

Summer's coming and I 'll be heading to Chalkidiki, maybe a motor show as well at Salonica. Lets see how much I can score.

i would of stayed with the momo wheel, but still nice the one you have now, you selling the momo wheel by any chance :)

Honestly... I like the Momo wheel by its looks. But I think a 3-arch wheel suits better my driving style. In addition I wanted something to make a more streamlined and unified look, rather some eye catching.

I am trully sorry but I am not selling the Momo wheel.

Nice work on those brakes. Any issues hooking the MC up to the brake assist?

No issues mate, direct fit. I think in the UK all the Almeras have the 15/16 Nabco BMC with 2 slots for anti-skid, isn't it?

Only the low grade N15s without ABS can benefit from the A32B BMC.

Yeah 2. Hard to find the right one for N16. Not sure I will keep.

More progress is being made, now to the paintshop. As expected no hits and no rust, only some pretty minor stuff. Very clean indeed.

My mechanic let me do some of the work, because I like doing stuff on my own, meanwhile he is finishing another customer's car. In the meantime I am waiting some great items to arrive, including the Nismo splitter from "o dog"

Removed the basics:

Put aside

Cleaned some dirty parts:

Fixed the air-con radiator, as it had some dents from various insects and small rocks and finally painted it:

Side VZ-R skirts arrived from EliasGR:

Nice work Tasos !

Thank you Nigel! Cheer me up buddy!

GO Red Team :)

some pure N15 love going on here, great to see!! thanx for sharing.

what are your plans?

Indeed intensive care on my "one of a kind" N15. Noone else has a N1 motor in a LHD Pulsar, at least in Greece. This is my flag and I am proud to be unique.

My plans, eh? I 've compiled a "TODO" list:

1) JDM Power Folding Mirror (work started, in progress)
2) Oil cooler (parts ordered, looking forward for them to arrive)
3) Paintjob + Nismo stickers (in progress)
4) Car PC installation (almost complete)
5) Some sort of louder "ICE"
6) Some sort of keyless entry (still thinking if its nice to go OEM or an Avital system)
7) Cusco front power brace (waiting to arrive)
8) Rear custom sway bar (friend has the whiteline one ready to be replicated)
9) SRXX g-spec dual temp adapter (really wonder when it will ever be shipped, paid for it)
10) "Drift n Drag" Ultra Racing immitation front fender bars (half the price compared to UR ones, ordered from Malaysia, shipped -waiting to arrive)
11) New door seals

Received the fender braces, from Malaysia "drag & drift", an Ultra Racing imitation actually at half of their price:

Initially destined to be fitted in a Sentra B14, but since N15 and B14 chassis are almost identical, they fit perfectly:

Dual GPS & Radio antenna base taken from a Citroen C5, with its rubber in pretty good condition modified to fit my Pulsar:

I wanted a bold badge on the steering wheel and that looked a bit fancy to me, how does it look to you?

The car now and my role is to help refinishing it. Cleaned up almost everything, removed all old and dry adhesive films that were still from Nissan itself!

Special treat from "o dog"... at last!!!

Every day I go 4+4 miles away from home and watch the beast evolving!

First things first, lets see how the splitter looks on the car, just before it gets washed:

Washed in order to kick away those evasive dirts:

Cusco power brace Ver.II arrived yesterday, blue's nice but I didn't think it matches the rest of the look, same done for all the rest brace mounts:

Light bulb plug taken from a Micra K11 because the original one didn't have the required clearance:

Skimmed them off about 1.5 mm so now it has safer clearance:

Is this your dad?

Can you not flush the side indicators out of get JDM wings... or is it a requirement in your country to have side repeaters?

I suppose it is a European regulation for many years to have side repeaters. I noticed newer cars also have at the rear.

Some owners here in Greece have actually fitted JDM fenders but for me its just a matter of safety... lots of other amateur and pesky drivers around here.
