-Twilight- Pulsar JN15 VZ-R N1 "Scarlet"

As I promised, my car was on display at Salonica motor show. Took a lot of photos which are available in my flickr photostream. In the meantime I uploaded some photos just for you, without any watermarks:

With a friend of mine, who proudly owns an Almera N16 facelift Techna:

That's a genuine Nissan flag, his grandfather was a local representative in our area. And BTW I purchased this T-shirt when I was in England.

Open hoods with clean engine bays:

Some nice licence plates, aren't they?

Ready to go, near the end:

Was it just you two parked on a car park?

I don't think I understood your comment. There were a lot of people, some other nice cars as well you can see all of them in my flickr photostream. There was a restriction of two cars from each club to go inside the show.

Back in 2010 I had the idea of putting together a car pc setup. I looked for the options and choices I had. I wanted something that has good value for money, looked liked it was from factory and not having the need to cut something in the dashboard:

The installation was pretty simple. All I had to do was to pass the usb consult cable through the dashboard and connect the auxilliary inputs. The rest of the stuff are in the passenger's glove box.

The system has the following components:

1) A tablet PC, namely an Archos 9. Android is out of the question because it has limited capabilities when compared to an i386 compatible PC. Various consult programs won't work either.
2) Port replicator offering some extra outputs and usb ports. And the handy VGA display output
3) VGA to RCA/S-video converter
4) An audio source of your choice that has RCA inputs... Or maybe a VGA display
5) Wireless bluetooth keyboard+touchpad
6) USB consult cable (optional)
7) Nissan datascan software (optional as well)

Total cost of the above mentioned stuff was approximately... 450 Euros. If you already own some sort of a small laptop/netbook or a tablet PC then this will lower the cost significantly. With this setup I can disconnect and take my tablet with me easily. Battery lasts almost 7 hours or more because its screen will be turned off when it works with the audio source screen. It has an SSD drive and an extra battery for backup! Because it doesn't take power from the car's battery I don't have issues with noise

The only problem was I had to remove the consult port's housing because the fuse cover didn't close:

Next update... custom made dash cover.

Whats better cusco or whiteline.. besides which thought cusco control arms were anodized blue not white

Cusco has more ground clearance. Earlier in the thread he mentioned that blue was nice but he wanted all the bracing to be white

Exactly... I like the clearance although I did had a minor touch with the greek "goat" road one day. Tomorrow I will increase the ride height by at least 10 mm. I am certain that it will also improve handling. As it is now, its only for the looks.

Not that it matters they do the same job but im nearly certain I read a thread with posts from a few weeks ago saying the opposite that basically cusco lower better for 3" whiteline for clearance. The pics in that thread are either n14/b13 version cos mines way different.

See pic....

My ride is almost complete in terms of exterior look. Only some minor details are missing, mostly stickers.

So here how it goes... before the paintjob 3 out of 10 people turned their head to look the car, after the paintjob 6 out of 10 did, now with the below stickers 8 to 9 out of 10 will do it! Many people didn't recognise the car and thought it was brand new! I dare to say that my car is the most beautiful in my hometown.

Before we proceed, let us note that I increased the ride height by 15 mm for safety and improved handling. Lowering the car too much offers nothing. It doesn't even contribute to the looks.

One day I was playing Gran Turismo 4 in the PCSX2 emulator with my genuine game disk. I noticed a really unique R34 in Red with the Nismo stickers, so I wanted to do the same... Here they are:

im not a fan of the decals, but fair playing for having a go. i myself dont like the 'look at me' mods. lower for me does look better than your current set up

loving the gloss black mirrors though

Just wish it was wearing a set of White Compomotive TH's though!

Please don't tempt me! They indeed look nice.

I am not a fan of the "look at me" mods either, but I got tired of all the other VAG cars here that always caught people's attention, so I thought it was time for someone to stand up and have something to say. It was also something I wanted since long time ago.

I won't lower the car just for the looks, handling and feel is very important for me, plus floor safety is a big factor.
