UK devoid of SRi's

Ah the memories... same stupid ride height as my first mera!

Having had both, I wouldnt get a 3 door SRi. Prefer the look of the 5 doors - the doors and windows are a bit too long on the 3 door, and I found living with a 3 door every day a pain in the arse. At least now I can actually get out of my car in a car park without having to climb out the window.

Been for a glance. 5 door no longer bothers me, looks awesome. Has quite a few really small dints and scrapes though, not too noticable.

How much does it cost to get small dints sorted? Does it depend where they are?

Going to get it looked over mechanically soon then hopefully buy.

If this 5 dr is good mechanically it's mine tonight. I like it, doesn't look half bad in black.

Question:

How hard are small dints to remove from Mera's? 55,000miles and £695 is really good, just a few dints.

Just depends where and how deep mush, if its on a swage line then they are more difficult to pull out.

If you come to the next Northern meet (see thread) you could speak to Wayne (Quickdraw) he's a bit of a bodyman and he'll take a look at it at the same time.

Got yourself a good little buy there (shame, thats the second one thats slipped thru my fingers)

Bought it now. Really happy with it guys. Last car I drove was a mk3 non power steered, un tracked, 1.1 8v 55bhp Fiesta.
The 98bhp of Almera felt so awesome. All the electrics and the entire thing I love. Went on the motorway, which was so much easier and felt significantly safer. Moving from a 30 to a 60, also floored it in second, instantly gave me a smile.

The body work has numerous small issues, but for the mileage and price I'm happy.

Official Almera owners now :D.
