updates on the n14 vvl/ nos/ lsd project

Tell me more pm if you like.
I have heard good and bad.
I have known them for a while though.
However this time round I told them I have a mag feature coming up and a blog with over 1000 people wacthing, so there name will be mentioned if anything goes tits up.
They will only do a good job if you pay out your back side.
Fcuk me are they expensive though.
They only want to touch the expensive cars, Skylines R35, Bmw M3's, Porcheses.

This was the last time I drove the car June 5th 2010, an electrical fault at Santa Pod.
Spent loads to get it trailered back to my home in London.
The car has since been stored in a friends garage now for the last 4 months.

Time to pull my finger out and get the conversion done.
2011 will be my year, watch this space.

Time wasn't great due to having loads of running problems on the day prior to the cut out.
Only managed 4 runs before it died on me best being 15.53.
I am sure with more practise and a properly running car would have dropped into the 14's.
The car kept ideling funny and was sluggish.

Anyway thats distant memory, just want to get the car ready for Spring 2011 now./vvl/

sounds like u need to get your car remapped..
 
This was on the old sr20de which is due to come out in favour of the sr20ve.
Just wanted to see what time I could get with the old standard untuned sr20de.
At least I can now compare times, well sort of with the sr20ve once in and mapped, then again test a time with sr20ve and nitrous in and mapped.
It was just a test, theres loads I could have done to improve on the time, low fuel, loose air in tires, remove all my stuff from car, remove headlights etc.
But was just a test day I was having which sadly ended in an expensive test day lol.
Can't wait to get the sr20ve with nitrous and all mapped.
Roll on 2011.

So to be honest for a bad set up running sr20de I was quite pleased, was a very hot day as well, other cars were running average as well.

p.s it was my first ever time on a drag strip as well.

All in I had a great day and really enjoyed it despite what happened.
It was the classic Ford show weekend and loads of them came over to help, good bunch of lads, got to love classic Fords as well.

Anyway no excuses anymore.
I just want to get the sr20ve and nitrous set up and see what she can be doing, hoping for 13's.

None of the time and money has gone into making it faster yet.
Be patient Fossil, my time will come.
I want to do this right so will not rush this build.
 
Fair play mate, that's exactly what I did the other weekend. Sort of a benchmark

It's good to be different with the nos dude, same with you rob. Hurry up and get it done :)
