your going to quibble over 4bhp?. anyway the point remains you have a lighter car with similar power so are quicker, and my car does have a 6 second 0-60

that's how andy asked us to time his? my response was in his thread to him? so where's the fail?
 
How do you know I have a lighter car? have you weighed it and have you had your 0-60 time properly timed? did you do a quicker 1/4 time than I did?
 
with the fact that your car was lighter from the factory, plus its fully gutted.

no my full interiored 1.6 n16 didn't beat your 1.8 fully stripped n14 quarter mile time, but jump in my car and beat my time and maybe then its a valid point, until then its just like you talking about beating most ofthe n15's, pointless. heck I beat some n15 gti's 1/4's last year, with a stock 16ve, ebay manifold, cat still in and a fooked 2" catback, now that's something!
 
going off the 3 videos ive watched yes i'll gladly beat your time because my crippled nan can drive better than you.

its all good trying to highlight you have a 1.6 and I have a 1.8, you have more power than me

I also have an n16 which is 80-100kg heavier than an n15, (and even more than that compared to an n14) which had a full interior, and a cat and a 2" exhaust, I didn't just mention the engine size
 
if you're taking it personally yes.

me saying "did you beat my time" was meant because you're saying your 0-60 time is quicker than mine so in theory your 1/4 time would be quicker too, common sense really and when you're going off a speedo to time your 0-60, come on, have a word with yourself man

Information on the sr20 Engines.
1. SR18DE= 140PS/ 123 TORQUE
2. SR20de= Low Port= ----PS/ ------TORQUE
3. SR20DE=High Port= 143PS/ 133 TORQUE
4. SR16VE= 175PS/ 119 TORQUE
5. SR16VE N1= 200PS/ 134 TORQUE
6. SR20VE= 190PS/ 144 TORQUE
7. SR20VE (20V)= 205PS/ 134 TORQUE
8. SR20DET= 225PS/ 198 TORQUE
9. SR20VET= 280PS/ -------TORQUE

you surely don't believe that only engine power and 0-60 dictates 1/4 mile times, gearing plays a big part in it, especially when 1st and 2nd gear in the vz-r box are so short compared to 3rd, and also how is me saying 6.6 seconds is quicker than 5.7???? anyway i'm done with this and you.

what's happening here is wezz is obviously still butt hurt after I told him his 20ve head wasn't worth £350, so he thought he'd try and be smart. funny thing is he has the cheek to offer £550 for a complete 16ve, laughable really :-/
 
i wasnt on about my 5.7 i was on about my 6.1 i got in the pulsar, use your eyes!

This is what im on about here, just shows how much of a clue you have, sim offered me his VE head for £400 quid and thats a 2.0 head not a 1.6, so are you saying that isnt worth it? who did i offer £550 for a complete 16VE? I offered £550 for a complete 20VE, or at least thats what I thought I was getting involved with.

oh and the 140ps quoted figure for an SR18DE is obviously with lovely jap fuel not our piss over here

But put on hold for now waiting on one more item to become avaliable.
