of course, but you end up with the better engine at the end of it, as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and although this doesn't hold true for everything in life it does in tuning engines
better engine in what sense though?

jeez whatever, some of us don't come online just to bullshit and it didn't cost me £950 it cost me £600 for the engine! the rest pays for the lsd box and the sr16ecu (thread here with pics! >> http://www.almeraownersclub.com/threads/37161-My-N16-E-Project?p=471732&viewfull=1#post471732 ) and all i'd need to add to my sr16ve is an sr20 crank and rods which will be less than £100 so £700 and it will piss all over your £950 SR20 plus be more economical and a smoother day to day drive i wish you SR20 guys would just realise it's old tech and just like any other old tech it's cheaper, this doesn't make it better
Cheers steven looks like I possibly be getting sr20 off wezz
So an SR16 with SR20 rods and crank won't need chipped / re-mapped?
I don't see the point in the hassle TBH. Less torque, heavyer body, muchos slower.
harry i hope you dont think the SR16 is an economical engine buddy...
think 25mpg without lobe action
