Well, today I decided to take it to bits to see what exactly happened, so here we go:

I would not do that with the compression results you've got. Bare in mind its 12 years old car now - you're gonna make the engine sweet and it will fail MOT on rust next year for example... Nobody will pay you extra money for this car if you'd like to sell it on.

Belts were brand new - replaced not so long ago, the same with coolant. I'm really shocked reading this because after the engine swap everything was spot on - it was using a bit of oil but nothing to worry about (.3 litre in 1000 miles) and I was using fully synthetic thin oil. You've done only...
