Im needing some paint mixed up and was wanting to know what the colour is called. The car is dark grey on top but is light grey on the bottom half of the doors, I'm looking to make it all the darker grey so it looks a bit better I didn't want to just order the paint code and find its the light...

are we going to get a post started in meets for this to see who is interested and what days they are free

I need to get it painted the same colour so it looks a little better will get some more pics and some of the underside when I start the work next week I dont have a clue what gearbox it is

Should hopefully have the turbo next week then the work can start

ga16 engine if its the sri

funny that as my other pal got a 214 later on and I could play with it all day each time he put the foot down first I always went past him :D and before you ask it was the 16v 214

my old 1.4 mera could keep up with my pals rover 220gti beat 205gti's and vtr's and managed to get it of the clock on a private road:D

so does it give more low down power when it kicks in earlyer and will it need mapped to give it more fuel when it kicks in Cheers again

anyone know the compression of the sr16ve/20ve and the good old sr18de/20de. I might be getting an import pulsar gti with the sr18de engine would it be better to use the 1.8 crank and rods to keep it a more revy engine? Thanks for the Help

would the sr20de pistons fit with a skim? as I have the sr20 bottom end and could get it ready just to drop in with skimmed pistons and eagle rods

1.6vvl-1.8/2.0 convertion can anyone tell me exactly what is involved? is it a case of putting the 2.0 crank and rods and leaving the 1.6 pistons as I belive they have got valve cutouts in them any info would be great thanks :confused:

That was the idea with the wheelbase differance and I think I will need GTi engine mounts as its a GA15 to an SR20. Not sure if anyone has tried this so it will be interesting if it can be done :woohoo:
