lowered springs got delayed another week :( so going to get new shocks as well. want to stay with standard shocks so any recomendations on cheap suppliers would be appreciated.

nice. where'd you get the suteki from? you gonna colour code it? Fit the dampers at a later date, get those springs on a cure the monster truck syndrome :D. I've got some 17s waitig to go on my mera, but refuse to fit them until I've got coilovers. I don't think 40mm lowering springs will be enough. though I spose it would be beneficial to raise the suspension mounting points a bit as well. Lowered, but without ruining the geometry.

Liking the grill too. Been thinking of modding my spare P2 grill to get a similar look.

the clue to the suteki is in the description. D.I.Y! took me 2 goes like, as the first attempt was PURE pants.

as for lowering, im just waiting on mi mate to pull his finger out his ass and get it sorted. in all honesty, theres not much point to lower it then strip it all again in a few weeks. i can live with the 4X4 stance for now, although corbs will tell you, im now starting to feel sea sick......

Looking good made, if you could spray the mesh on the Suteki black i think it'd improve it.

Speaking of sea sick, anyone been in a rover 200 (bubbleshape) or 416? Now thats sea sick, they are softer than a sponge! Serious body roll even at 30mph.
I was in the back seat of a rover 416 hitting nearly 130mph.. that was some scary sh*t especially in high winds!

Nice mera Si by the way!

cheers for the comments, might change the title of my thread as theres no interest in Si's on AOC in all fairness.......

wont be spraying the mesh to be honest kelv, it actually looks really good from a distance as it blends to look very standardish!

word in the mill is that theres a remote chance it could get lowered tomorrow, although i wont be holding out too much hope.....

most people look rather then comment mate, although changing the title to 300hp si might bring in some more views :D .car looks smart! fancy having a so at the suteki myself. any tips?

well then ladies and gents, time for the grand unveiling. after many weeks of promises and a slight confusions with shocks, the almera of doom finally got lower. a lot lower....

got to say, even though the fronts have new shocks so its sitting quite high but will settle, i think its lookin the nuts now. so, no more rolling! just to add the old shocks were that bad, when you pulled them up or pushed them down, they clunked! ie, no fluid in them whatsoever! now the pics, im in love!

cheers to corbs for the knowledge, carny for instant shock absorber supplying and wiggy winnal for fitting.....
