98 VZR N1 Project

So I purchased this off a member recently. Nice clean car, bog standard bar omori gauges and stupid speakers.

Err dont mind the reg plates off my other car, thats just to give her a good run before the nct next week haha

I actually fell really bad about changing/modifying as its almost completely originally, even has the flapy paddle on intake and the cat was never even removed, all underside plastics etc.

But i suppose if i keep all the original stuff its not so bad changing it haha.

Tein coilovers
fully polybushed
POCs ecu
Powerland manifold
Decat
2.5" catback exhaust
Either standard or 3.5" intake with standard airbox and panel filter or hks mushroom filter and heat shield
4.78 mfactory final drive
Clutch, not sure yet
Xtd or fidanza flywhell if i can get one at a reasonable price
Probably forgetting stuff but basically swapping old setup with a few tweaks onto this car.

Not sure if ill keep the aircon or not. Might just remove the belt and if weather gets warm in summers stick it back on

Who knows after that. Also next year will be starting a nice little project but exact route is to be decided still

The lack of lucino rears is because they were sold to one of the lads over here before I purchased her.
Im not fussy about stuff like that tbh once bodywork is clean and straight im happy. May add them in the future but wont be high up on my list.

The speakers bug me immensely but cant do anything about them .

White is a painful colour i think, shows every little fault, id love a black one, thought long and hard about offering a deal on the one Sam has now when poc had it but i didn't

Oh yea the evo brakes etc sam sold will be going on her too.

Very nice! I never knew the Lucino's came with a different interior to the normal N1's.

Shame about the speakers! The rest of the car looks mint.

Was looking at the door cards today, i could transfer over the pockets off the other car but there would be at least 1 hole left in door card doing that, unsure if I will or not.

2.5" exhaust This will be modded with a resonator added and possibly a different backbox.

Think thats nearly everything ive collected for her lately.

She also flew through the nct (our version of mot) the other day with very low emissions and everything was in tip top order. I was delighted to say the least.

Cheers man, im useless at names myself . She seems nice so far and appears to have have been minded by previous owners.

I told a slight fib on nct , have to pop back in this week for free cos the bulbs over number plate was gone and number plate writing was too big but everything mechanical was perfect, was just a visual thing.

The speakers really bug me but ill sort them in time. Once its driving good im happy.

i think they are yea, can get them over here handy enough anyway man, cheers for the offer though . Was looking at them and there will be at least 1 screw hole in them removing the speakers though. Ill figure something out though

Small update. Car has been in the shed for the winter. Gave her a quick scrub last week and took it today for a quick blast to clean the brakes etc.
Car is driving great. Just need to book an Nct it again which it should fly through and then start adding mods to her.

Sold the Tein coilovers, should have something nicer to replace them soon .

Also picked up a very rare 2.5" Badmoon exhaust for her. Now have a selection of performance exhausts lol

Thats all I can think of now...

Was bored today so gave the manifold and backbox a quick clean up. Need to find a better polish for them but its a start. Also need to get de-tar stuff for the backbox.

Oh yea she is going back on the road this friday

Nct test next week and then exhaust,, decat, mainfold, intake, cusco brace and maybe ecu going in if I can get a lend of a timing gun.

The 4.78 gearbox, flywheel etc and rest of the suspension stuff can go in mid May when I have time to do them.
