Shaggy, it unlikely i'll be going to Aldon again, probably try somewhere different next time.
Thanks for the offer aswell on the rod bolts, im very interested, keep me posted on this.
Downrodeo, the fuel consumption isnt too great, but it depends how i drive it.
Off boost, its fine, hardly any different to a standard 1.4.
On boost, it uses quite a lot of fuel. I have no idea what the MPG is though.
UPDATE:
Some new goodies installed:
Stage 3 XTD Clutch (6 Puck) (fitted along with a stock 1.6 flywheel)
Prothane Engine Mount Bushes[/B] (Currently only fitted front and rear mount)
...and while i was at it, i tidied the engine bay up:
..oh and a new badge courtesy of Damo:

Loving the progress Dale, you're covering all the bases slowly 
And also loving the 1.4 badge for the final kick in the balls to the boy racers haha.
I'll keep you posted on the conrod bolts, as I'm most likely gonna do all my internals I'll keep you posted on the rest of the stuff I find aswell.
Just a quickie, is a pulsar Fuel pump a straight swap item for ours?

No, i never managed to get her RR'd, im always too skint!
As soon as im back on the road, I'll be getting it done though.
Fitted a new clutch cable yesterday and strengthened the exhaust manifold, just awaiting the solid front engine mount, then she'll be good to go.

What were your insurance costs before and after? As it's got near GTi power, surely the insurance is similar? Also, why the Micra ECU and not the Almera one?
