Almeragt´s SR20VE Almera

The dyno results dont really mean much. My spec did 168whp on one dyno, and 192whp on another. HP 196-211.
Get it on a dynojet for a better comparison to the U.S builds.

I don´t know about any dynojet dynos here...but it doesn´t matter - dyno is good for checking if some mod will add something or not and to see power / torque curve. We will be on dyno on Wednesday and will try to squeeze some more ponies... Anyway, I´m satisfied even now - it drives /works just perfect

so We have been on the same dyno with my tuner Raddy today. After several changes in the map and dyno runs We came to decision, that best performed the initial map I Had /which made Raddy on the road/. Raddy tuned a little bit AFR between 5500-6100 RPM, what doesn´t affect the maximum power at all... It was confirmed, that good tune on the road = perfect overall performance.

Against that only change comparing to the last dyno run was the different oil /Millers Oil Nano 10W50 now, in previous dyno run it was 5W40/ , coolant fluid /Evans power cool 180/ and temperature of 16°C against 21°C before, I have got the best numbers as high as: 239,4 HP and 216 NM. All other changes in the maps made less power - but still around 2-3 PS less only.

don´t know, how it is possible that now We achieved that power... but anyway car runs perfects and has a plenty of power...

Only thing I need is oil cooler - as far as the oil when I´m driving on the track is too hot... On the road I didn´t have any problem /even if I´m driving the car really hard/, but car is running different conditions on the track...

I will post the graph from the dyno later on...

thanks! those are EVO 8 Recaro seats, custom re trimmed in black/red with black dots alcantara ... Seatframes are custom made from OEM EVO frames + we have made new custom front lower reinforcement /on which are attached the front seats/ - to have pretty low seat... Now it´s lower than OEM seats... Hope you understand it - can´t find the proper words in English :)

Hey man, would love to see some pics of those seat frames. Cheers

That car is simply AMAZING! I really really like the wing, in my opinion it suits the back of the car perfectly! waiting for clips aswell!

Many thanks for comments!
some older videos... I didn´t know this road very well and right wheel bearing was making the noise... But to have some imagine...

I had to buy and install the oil cooler as my temerature on the circuit /track days/ rised very high - I had problem after 4-5 rounds with switching the cams as oil was so hot in hot days during the summer. It never happened on the normal road...

I made in the car over 8.000 km this season, changed the oil 4x - always motorsport Millers Oil Nano 10W50 - everything was running perfect, just my clutch had enough /it had over 60.000 km/, so I had to replace it... If We will have some warmer weekend in Bratislava, I will try to make some good video... Car is prepared to go to the garage for the whole winter. No changes for coming season except mechanical LSD from MFactory ordered more than year ago... Then just want to drive, drive and drive...

Are those videos with the latest engine spec?

Can tell that's a quick car :)

thanks Sam... And yes, the last engine spec. For imagine - car pulls from 60km/h on the 2-nd gear up to 160 km/h the same way as my friend´s moto bike - Hornet 600 made in 2011. From 160 km/h is the car quicker... But the best is how works the suspension - same as rally cars... Suspension have been setted up by specialist + corner weighted /man who is making suspension setting for circuit cars and hillclimb cars driving in european championsship/. I have to make some videos how it works, but really don´t have enough time...

Respect on your work!
You have made the ultimate toy - no matter what for : track or hill-climb.
And send regard to Jagy from Bulgaria.

I've had mine setup/corner weighted.

Problem is with a road car there are too many variables for it to be worth it. I.e. weigh it with a full screen wash tank, then empty it that's enough to screw with it.

Its worth it with a track car/race car because its easier to control.

Does look quick. Good driving.....fast and safe.
What oil temps were you getting on track?

thanks Ian - and yes - I was little bit careful, as I didn´t know this roads very well... My temperature was over 130°C on the track during the hot days... Oil cooler solved the problem...

Sam: for my suspension is mandatory to set it up by a specialist. Without this, it doesnt works so nice. It´s a day and night difference... I have hillclimb setting and geometry. Of course it´s not perfect when you drive slowly /it works the same as every rally or hillclimb racing car/. But if you drive faster, suspension works better and better and it doesn´t matter if it´s bumpy, or if you are jumping over horizon... you can jump trough the rail crossing in 200km/h and immediately brake without any problem, or jump over horizon in the same speed and immediately turn left or right without any problem and you feel safe and always have traction. Looks and works the same as professional rally cars. That´s simply amazing... I tried the same - compared with my E92 BMW 3, but my speed was for sure much lower /approx 40km/h lower than on Almera over the horizon/ - and it was scarry. It doesn´t work on normal car at all... this suspension worth every penny...
