Looking good BUT i think you should have masked the two bits on either side of the top of the grille. If you know what I mean.

That'll teach me for rushing eh! I might just touch that in this weekend when I get back from being away.

Havent updated this for some time and I have done a few bits so I thought i'd post up what I have been up to.

Brought a set of Black GTI wheels from off here but when they arrived the lips looked like they had been chipped when being delivered, so I cut the lips back and treated them. Also collected a rocker cover from chunky and set about sorting the few little chips on that out too.

Front tyres were shot on my other wheels so went and invested in some Toyo T1R's and got them fitted up, quite impressed with the grip and handling so far from them.

And some random pictures of the car with the wheels fitted..(still need to sort the grille)

Cheers, Pictures are a bit rubbish to be honest I need to get a better camera.

I will be protecting it over the winter yeah, It really needs a good going over to be honest another good clay and machine polish on some parts is really needed but that'll be after winter has done it's thing.

I normally use the Carlack 68 sealant pack and top it off with some serious layers of Collinite. Wheels will be off again soon and protected with poorboys wheel sealant. It'll be washed every weekend its used like usual though especially during the salt.. :)

Sounds like a good plan. I've not used the carlack twins for ages. Might need to dig them out for the next car. Collinite is my go to wax for this time of year too. Couple of layers should see it through.

I've got magifoam to hopefully see me through some quick and easy top up washes. As it's LSP safe too.

Yeah driver's side looks like a teenagers face right now, I will be getting that sorted out next year when I have some spare pennies. Passengers side has a small 2p sized dot aswell but that'll be done next year aswell
