I heard that, I was also thinking of making turbo noises when I drive it, got to be worth at least another couple of ponies surley
Called up Nissan about the rear shock dust cover boots today and they want £80 for a pair what a rip off, anyone know anywhere I can get the cheaper?
or a local motor factors, im sure most universal steering rack rubber boots are very similar.
nice work on the caliper, most tend to paint the carrier too for that FULL effect.

what £56 for the dustboots for the rear shocks?
Cheers, Its getting there now. I didnt bargin on it needing so much spent on it to be honest but I'd rather have it done right now its mine. Needs a bloody MOT soon aswell, hopefully it'll get through that fairly trouble free, the advisory sheet from last years was removed from the paperwork I recieved which also bugs me a bit!
Rocker cover has arrived today and I have decided to have it powdercoated silver (same colour or as near as to the cars colour) and the lettering done in gloss black. Hopefully that wont look too shabby!
Nope dont be silly thats the price for just the two rear boots! Its the damn VAT and delivery which bumps it up
Still need to get the bloody rust done aswell on the rear arches which is probably going to be a small fortune :frown:

MOT history
need reg number and V5 doc no. *11 digits
david
I didnt know you could do that either! Trouble is I had to also apply for a new log book when I changed the numberplates over so the V5 has not come through just yet
If it comes through before the MOT then i'll have a browse. I'd assume it got advisories on brakes as they were shot, (still need to replace the rears) Not sure if the shocks would be part of an advisory but they were well, dangerous to say the least
Next saturday i'll have to check what I am up to, would be a laugh to come along if I am not booked up.
