Faulty Rad Cap discussion

personally i would never re-use a head gasket, even if its only been in the car a day and the head came off again, but thats personal preference.
 
Pleased all is well again iain, a know the feelin when everything seems to be going wrong, but in the end it always comes good, Cant beat that feelin when everythin is workin as it should :lol:

When's she hitting the strip then boss?
 
I`m going to, but with a normal battery when i get chance.

Just to add i was using 7 series NGKs after the build. They gave cold starting and idling issues. Much improved with the 6 series. :)
 
is this still running all good pal? are you the first to go 11.8:1 DE? hopefully we'll see if its all been worth it so others may follow you again Ian

edit - no wait, the man above you has a high comp. DE too. im silly
 
What you on about now David?....no i`m not the first. Kurt has attempted this, AndyS, Dbull and a few others.

Are you trying to say you have higher compression than me as well now?

Just for the record its running great, better than ever. 120mph comes up in no time.
 
High Comp FTW... Should be reliable and very driveable with the S3R's and stock inlet too Ian.
Can't wait to see it in action out on the battlefield again.
