Well, not really an update but some advice please.

I want to take my dash out so i can get all the bits and bobs out from behind it that i don't need for some more weight loss.

Any tips or general guide lines on removing the dash? i.e. how do i tackle it?

Just keep undoing every bolt you can find, then wiggle it about and see where it's stuck.

two bolts either end by the doors two down the side of the centre console one behind the clocks two ontop of the dash by the windscreen, lift it up first and then you can pull it away

2 on dash near screen, 1 behind clocks,
1 on either side outside edges just in front of doors, 1 either side of centre console
