GRP Parts, now available

Yeah the pitroadm one, was gonna save to buy one of these! but even plain carbon as moulds would be needed with the vent aswell, means having at least 2 moulds then a mould for each style people want, although i think alot would agree with sam.
 
hey man looks good, if you can do full P1/P2 bodykits you will prob get plenty of orders, i know i will be after a p1 bodykit when i get my project restarted (i.e once money is spare again
 
you going to be doing any n16 parts? Will probly be looking for bonnet, bootlid and maybe wings next year....?

^This is the problem..^

2x moulds is a last resort..

I COULD make a copy of the vent and make an 'after mould pop' addition to each and every one as desired..

However this only works with GRP.. as the carbon one would show the vent and construction.. small GRP smoothing and filler..

Carbon I think has to be plain, a vent would have to be 'rivit' on style.. ~Vent could also be done in Carbon I guess.. hmmm..

Could we get an agreed vent type that were all happy with and ill source one.. and make the arrangements..

Im making this next week so alterations need to me made now..

I personally think the the NACA type one is a little small and unfunctional.. somthing that would scoop I more air Im thinking..

Can I get some ideas guys?.. Everyone want be happy with SAME vent.. but obviously something that doesn't offend the majority.
 
I dont need a vent on mine cos i run a bmc wih 4" cold air feed. I may add one myself for cooling purposes but a plain bonnet wouls suit me better
 
bonnets kristian = win, im not bothered on either a CF or GRP, will they be single skin?

just get a plain one kurt and put a vent in yourself or get a bodyshop to do it

I think plain is generally the direction...

Ill have pics of the K11 one for persual tuesday..

Are they gunna be single skin? Whats the fixing to the hinges at the back gunna be with a single skin? front doesnt matter as i use aerocatch's
