Matt's GTi

Not sure, my mate skyline is in the next one though. Mine will most probably be when dave gets his feature i think.

I would dave but i've only my phone. Oh go on then! I'll go and take one, just for you.

The maestro is an apprentice mechanic at the boys garage who own's one of the evo's. Lets him take the evo to shows for him all the time.

Cheers Dave, I have been trying to get something sorted at the front there;)

you need to get a TB powder coated now.

sticks out

Not just now, Is a good idea though.

Well done Matt!

Cheers Joe, wasn't too bad at all. Would have been loads easier if i took the strut and air intake off. But i managed to work round it. What's next.... I've just got the bug back again now. Damn you and Usman!!

Yeah would look good back to 'brush aluminium' look & then re-lacquered :flowers:

Would sanding it back be easy enough to do, but keeping the edges pretty neat. I.e not flaking them off. Also would it just require a light spray of lacquer?

to re-lacquer would be over kill, really no need. sand paper block and take your time holding it flat against the rasied lettering and it'll come off neat.

that all i did

Would it make any difference with mine being powder coated and not just painted? I'd imagine it'll be a lot harder to sand back?

Use a dremel & deburing bit or something that would get it back to metal and stop you from scuffing the surrounding areas compared to using a bit of sanding paper... where u might slip over the designated sanding area

Don't use a dremel. You're going to slip and when it does, it's not going to be pretty.

Block of wood with sandpaper wrapped tightly around it - game on if you want to be like all the others with black rocker covers and silver letters...i'd go a step further and paint the letters green...

Yeah as Ross says Paul, just to make the contrast.

Good idea Steven. Was maybe thinking a gold/bronze outline on it, just thinking out loud here.
