The car was in the Best Auto Performance show on saturday, i spent a few hours friday cleaning the car polish / wax etc and here's the result..

It's not clean.....it's mint! Having seen this in person I can guarantee this is the cleanest GTi in Ireland and one of the cleanest in the UK as well

Car looks sweet mush.. seems like you have mint paintwork still, needs the sidestrips removed though.. as does mine

Cars begging for some 25mm spacers all around, make those alloys stand out abit more.

Yep.. i'm thinking spacers alrite..... Next on the list is that Undersealing done.. the lad was on holidays the past few weeks... only back now on the 25th

No other real plans at the minute mate.. i'm happy with the way it is... so just keep it as standard / mint as i can and enjoy it

Bit of an update here.... Got the car undersealed Got it done with the same fella that done damo's Excellent work... and a five year warranty... So all ready for the winters ahead... Much to my suprise there was only surface rust on the body whick was cleaned down / treated / undersealed and he also put cavity wax into the rear struts too... So overall very Happy

Ha Ha.... i was going to try it myself.. but got this guy to do it instead.. Well happy with the work for €280.. also comes with a 5 year guarrantee too.... Even though the car won't be driving in the winter.. Great Piece of mind tho

Looks good, welcome the the fully undersealed club. What was the stuff he used? is it underseal or more like stonechip? I ended up going for stonechip based product cause it semi dries and isn't sticky to the touch anymore so u dont get black sticky shit all over you if you need to do work under the car like regular underseal... also doesn't come off without whitespirit/scrubbing lulz

Please get man exhaust for the car though lol!
