Car getting fixed at last

I know sorry Chris been a busy man at work for a change and just been living quiet wi having to save money to get car fixed and hols!! Going to Marmaris, never been before but alot of folk say its good!

Its at an industrial estate across from cockenzie power station so 10 mins down the road from me!!

How you been, car running ok? The coliovers been worth the money then?
 
Car is mint now!!

Alrite guys, got back from sunny Turkey early monday morning and picked up my car from spray shop at about half 3!!

The guy has made a stunning job of my car dont recognise it!! Its like brand new!! I'll get pics up ASAP and hope you like it as much as me!!

Was well worth the £950 I paid, I would recommend him to anyone in Edinburgh or Lothians!! :D

Yeah was done in standard black, like black so didnt want to change! I know was gutted when it happened but was well worth the money and getting extra done at same time!

yeah hol was brilliant wish I was still there! Hotel was good, and plenty bevy so on de-tox now!! lol!! :D

S**t forgot that was on this weekend!! No can do though I'm busy on sun or I would have!!

Had to take the car back to the garage yesterday......not the paint job though!!

When I got a replacement door, kindly for nothing from Rick from a 1.8 GTi import I think he said which was in no bad nick. It turned out the mechanism in the door for the electric windows was f**ked but didnt find out till tue nite when I was going to footie training and the window wouldnt go back up!!!! :mad: so had to drive home in the rain but didnt get that soaked! Took the car back the next day and luckily he had my old door and replaced it with the mechanism off that!! The electric windows on the new door obviously hadnt been used in ages but didnt think of that until it was too late!!

Anyway sorted now and no problems!!

Windows prob hadn't been used for nearly 2years dude but theye did work perfectly when it was running. lol

Bit of bad luck but an easy fix and not so troublesome for you.

Be patient men I'll get them up soon!!! I know never thought about it when I took the door to garage but was easy sorted just swaped over mechanisms so working perfect now!! And thanks again Rick the door has turned out mint after a bit of sanding and spraying, you would never know it had come from that heap you had at your lock up!!

I'm going to keep uz all stewing so when I do get the pics up you'll enjoy them even more :lol::lol:
