Hmm better, but still not sure. I'll be leaving them as they are for now :)

Small update, but just bought a pair of Team Heko wind deflectors from eBay, and a full set of Goodridge braided brake lines as well.

I also have the car also booked in for a full service with my good friend who works at a garage to do oil, filter, sparks, fuel filter, g/box oil, full underseal, fit braided brake lines & flush/replace brake fluid :smartass:

Should be running brilliant after all of that. I'm also getting the car generally checked over, I think the brakes will need replacing shortly so that's on the list!

I doubt it its even done 1k miles, i just serviced it last month

Good to have everything done again, lol

Get 5.1 fluid bled through the brakes and ebc yellowstuff pads are great.

Make sure to use ngk spark plugs too as Bosch are crap

Yellowstuff you say? I heard Redstuff were the thing to get?

As for discs, I've read these are good? - ie, near standard = best.

Yeah those discs are fine, OEM or similar are generally considered to be absolutely fine.

Bit of a pathetic update, but was bored and wanted something to do.

Cleaned up random bits in the engine bay and noticed a couple of hoses & wires pretty close to the manifold. Found some heat shield wrap stuff I had left over from my s13 project and decided to protect the closest hoses.

Both of these are less than an inch away from the hot manifold, and are just OEM rubber hose, so I felt it was better than to leave them unprotected.

Also just got back from meeting Badger with her n14 GTi and got a door card in good condition to replace my ripped one. Total cost of a £5er, happy with that.

Needed a bit of a clean, so before,

And it'll be fitted tomorrow morning when I have daylight :)

Hmm nice looking car mate but I don't think those lights are for me. I find it makes them look smaller, like less grown-up sort of thing

Sounds silly I guess lol.

Finally got my Team Heko wind deflectors through the post, mega cheap off eBay, really happy with them. Finished work pretty late so drove to a local Tesco and fitted them under the light. Took about 5 mins tops, very easy!
