My GTI-R

hmmm yes busy weekend meeeee,

cage in
walbro 255 in
freshly powedercoated cusco strut brace in

the cage is pretty damn good, the only downside to it is the main roll bar doesnt go right to the roof, i think it must be allowing for a sunroof or something as the bends wouldnt allow us to make it any higher. non the less its still gravy and i have an even tighter arse now

only thing to do now is touch up the red where it needed grinding back and the extra bar across the strut turrets needs painting

i used to love the way my gtir handled, it was simply awesome with the 4wd, and with a welded in cage like that it must feel like your diving a go-kart! awesome! :shades:

well steve it wasnt me that had it powder coated red, it was the boss when he was going to buy it off me, id have left it how it was myself.

haha yeh dont need anything bigger at the moment sam, until the VE-T finally comes along i wont need a MAF at all, id say its standard FTW to be honest, after all that standard MAF got me a 12.3 on my bone stock engine, you wont find many that have done that :)

yeh dude it does handle great, i just need the front end laser aligning now and a few goodies transferring to the boot

getting a custom one fitted in a weeks not FIA certified etc, £500 tops fitted same thing as above but slightly smaller tubes but still does the job,

;)

see how it turns out :)

i'll hang anything off it tom you know me you godly hunk of love. i think im going to paint it black, as said above, i wouldnt have had it painted red so im just going to hardcore hammerite it black :)

my cage cost £240 all in :)

no front half el, its very purposeful in the back...

balance
tight arse
looks good
keeping the weight down

isnt it awesome what you can do with a torch and a good camera
