little update,

i put new red stuff pads on my Z32 4pots and rears,
new wheel nuts,
put my R888's on too, :):):):)

ive bed the pads in covered about 150 miles, and OMG! the brakes are insane! super powerfull!, id say they feel about 4-5 times more powerfull!, but im guessing its to do with the r888's tho ;)

ive got another special mod for jae too, as far as i know noone has got these in their almera ;)

I lolled

ok stu can i get the make and size offset andd everything of your wheels please mate before i thorw these fucking brakes through a window been to countless wheel shops today and i cant find one set of 16" wheels that will go over these brakes and thats with a 25mm spacer

im pretty sure the offset is 37 nistro,

although it doesnt really 100% depend on the offset, its the spoke dish and thickness, :)

ive got 15mm spacers and the caliper is 3mm from the spokes :)

yeah ive worked out i need 14 1/2 inches minimum on the internal diameter before i even look at the spoke design. And im now at the point where i am getting that pissed of with crappy service and not being able to find a wheel i like, i loved craigs volks but nope there was only 14" on the inside so it would have been wasted

a little update,
at santapod had some issues with my coolant system, suspected head gasket failure, :/

but after investigation, turns out the rad cap was faulty, thermostat was not working properly and there was a crack in the thermostat housing! now it is all running very good, running cooler than it ever has actually, taking i bit longer to get to temp, but still gets up to temp and fans working all good etc,

has a slight misfire tho, now :/ taking it to redline tuning next week to put it on the roller/afr meter to find out whats going on, possibly remove and clean the injectors out, :)

i think as i was runing 1/4 tank of fuel i may have got some shite in the fuel system as it get thrown about abit on the strip, :)

misfire could be water leaking in

nah hopefully its ok then mate, like ross says check it to be on the safe side

edit: what issues were you having with the coolant system? actual overheating from it leaking water from the stat housing?

or dreaded in from the exp tank?

As the fuel is drawn from the bottom of a fuel tank, where and sediment would sit anyway, a low amount of fuel in the tank wouldnt make it any more likely to draw in any foreign particles, it could happen whenever!

this is BS, every fuel tank Ive been in has looked extremely clean, I am yet to see a dirty one. The pump sits in its own housing anyway

I never said they weren't clean, just that if there was anything, it would settle at the bottom of the tank, Stu was making it sound that because the fuel was low, it would be more likely to be picking bits up, when it actually wouldnt make any difference.
