Well.....
Not getting the engine finished for Shakespeare Raceway has kinda put a new spin on things for me.. Its took the whole rush out of the project and gave me time now over winter to add a few more parts that I wouldn't have if it were going in this year.
I'm keeping my old faithful SR20 in over winter (as lets face it I'm not gonna be racing etc throughout the winter months) so I may keep the reliability, driveability and good fuel consumption until the engine is properly ready.
Otherwise, I've just been doing maintenance on it, fitted new clutch cable, clutch pedal service, 'miko/flay' clutch cable bracket, a new driveshaft the other week, new redstuff front pads etc.
Got GTi steering rack, fresh track rod ends, new wishbones, GTi ARB, new drop links, FULL Poly Bushes and a few other handling goodies to go on too, to restore the tightness.
Its slow.. But it'll be fast next year

Not at the moment no, I'm still using the XS POWER one.
Its something I have talked to the engine builder about but his response was that we'll see how we go, if when the engine's built, the header's holding it back bigtime, then I'll change it, but I don't believe it'll be that bad.
He just told me to remove the various takeoff's on the manifold like the EGR one and that, IE, chop them off completely and plate over, as having those on there isn't great for flow.
If it causes a problem, I can swap a different header on at any point.
Until it causes a problem though, it'll be staying (unless you need some cash and wanna sell me yours Dave?)
