right tonight i sanded painted and fitted the nismo strut brace i have not sure on keepin it silver but looks better than it did before

well insured it yesterday so next tuesday tax then off to joe on the friday for him to play with it. then i will sort the rest of the bay out after he has finished putting all the bits in.

Shaggy magic is that little extra power you get from you just touching the engine lol yeah i might be interested in the powder coating. Dave you will have to wait and see lol you will see in the next couple of week's
 
right guys took the rear coilovers off the black gti ready to clean up and have noticed these marks one has them both sides and the other just 1 side any thoughts

the k-sports all had this problem iirc. and the first bc lower mounts

they foul on the bracket or something, where they fit to, most people just took a hammer to the bracket afaik
 
they will be on both sides because someone has turned round one of the mounts for fitting at some point.... the bit they rub on just needs massaging with a hammer or some work with a file.
 
right then car is finally on the road. :):):)
exhaust has a nice sound to it think the hotshot header with 2.5 inch downpipe has made a good difference only thing is with it being so low the exhaust is knocking like fuck.
standard clutch is slipping holds in first but on low revs just slips so need to get the new one fitted asap.

other wise everything seems fine now i can finally get all the bits fitted
