N16 DCi-R

It's 225/40 though, which is the same tyre wall as 205/45 ;) Which is what I plan to stick on the front once tyres are worn.

What I found when I had Contis before was that the ride was better, so 205/45 Conti is probably as good a ride as a 205/50 Falken/Cooper/Toyo.

But I've also got some Tender spring plans too ;).

Im runnng 225/40 and they're miles comfier than the previous 205/45s that I had. Great tyres at an even better price dude,

Ah I thought you were on 225/45 for some reason leem. What brand/model to what?

Just watch the conti's in the cold, a few owners of those report them not sticking at all below freezing.

Good to know. Shouldn't have that issue until Nov-Dec now, but by then I hope to stick some winter tyres on anyway :).

In which case, I can recommend Kleber Quadraxxers (made by Michelin but significantly cheaper). Or Hankook i'cept Evos - had them on the N16 & they were excellent.

Some bastard parts. N16/N15 rear bumper, N16/V10/G10 front bumper. Rear is ready to paint after finishing the plastic welding today then smoothing it down. Front I'll have to finish off next week, and GRP bonnets should be ready then too.

Beautiful ed, just need a nice big shiny backbox to finish the look, the exhaust looks lost and all that soot will be creeping into your cabin too

Yeah had to cut the tip off, didn't grow on me and needed it off to help make the bumper. Will be getting some sort of jap can.

Is the splitter supposed to be matte then?

I reckon with the VZR skirts it will look savage from a rear 3/4 angle.

As I said, it's only got a lick of paint on it for now just to cover up the red n15 bumper part and sanding marks. Cheap Halfords spray can, took me no time at all, rush job. The whole lot is being sprayed professionally. That's front and rear bumper, spats, skirts and GRP bonnet.

Ah cool, didn't know if that was the 'look' you were going for!
