'Anti Lift Kit (ALK)'. They are spacers which increase castor. Higher stability at speed and greater traction off the line.

If you draw a mental picture of the geometry (providing you know the N16 subframe and wishbones well) you can see how INCREASED castor can help reduce lift under hard acceleration.
