N16 DCi-R

ABS light still on. I've cleared the sensors of debris and wire brushed down the rings but no luck. Will try a reset and see if that solves it, otherwise I guess it's new sensors time??

Also can't get the air con to work. I triple checked the wiring but I can't see anything wrong. I need the air con for demisting so I hope I can sort it.

Nearly there! Dunno if the N16 is like the N15 where you can flash out the code for the ABS on the dash by doing some weird ritual with keys and buttons.

Have you driven the car yet? Is the abs light steady?
Yeah it's steady. I've only driven it up and down the drive. Need to sort tracking better as it's still all over the place. But without an MOT I can't be driving it on the road anyway.

When I did my rear brakes my light stayed on. Drove it up the road and light went off after a few seconds. Might be all it needs to reset the system

Much progress. Awesome efforts. Good luck with final fault-findings and fine tuning.

Eagerly await each new update. Top work.

Oooh, clever! I've got the lid from a Frey-Bentos pie that I am still wanting to put in to blank mine. Still haven't managed to undo the seized nuts though and a little too paranoid to give them too much wellie until I'm closer to someone with welding/drilling/tapping gear

I'd missed that posting at the time.
In fact that is a blatant lie. I was a little tipsy when I saw that post but was paying a lot more attention to the intercooler piccy. I've done a bodge-job with duct-tape and drain-pipe, to unrestrict&relocate the air-intake into the recently fitted HKS filter. I was sure that I'd seen you hole-saw somewhere, in another thread, to do a similar relocation. I was studying the last piccy in that post looking for evidence and completely missed the genius of the drill-hole.

8J looks so native on N16. Too bad wheels are pretty rare in 16x8, even more rare in 4x114

design reminds me prorace 1.2
