I mean the subject. All the others were videos of everyone else. Yeah there are 4 others but thought that one up there is the best one :).
 
Yup, drops back down past 3.5k to about 12psi. If you slam the throttle down it blips to 20psi but that's just a side affect of VNT, it over-boosting before the ECU brings it back down. Crusing at motorway speeds it's on about 3-5psi and holding 40-50mph it can stay N/A :lol:. Tis kinda fun watching the boost levels as I drive.
 
yeh i used to do that with the R, keep it at negative boost and fuel economy was good, but errrrrrm was kind of hard keeping a 300hp 4WD tin can at negative boost :lol:
 
lol yeah I bet. Diesels don't go negative boost (can't remember the reason now). So it sits on 0psi (or 1 bar atmosphere I guess). Still kicks though when you tap the throttle but that's the high comp 18:1 diesel for ya ;).

Oh and the new intercooler+piping has casued a little bit of lag but I reckon that'll be sorted with the hybrid turbo and remap.
 
Actually the pipe run is slightly shorter. But it's larger bore and larger intercooler makes difference. It's not enough that makes it a problem though :). Easy to compensate for by keeping the revs over 2k if I need to stay on boost. Once it gets to 5psi it jumps to 18psi in a split second ;). I'll get a vid if you or anyone is interested? :)

Go on then . . . . . . ! Actually, talking of boost, mine's decided to spin up coming out of a roundabout in 3rd this morning. Probably diesel, but it was quite amusing :D
 
Not surprised mate. Torque and power plus lighter front end than mine (a whole 100kg lighter), because I've done that too :D.
