N16 Pulsar Sedan front grill

Yeah and for the facelift (p2) they made the kidney grille even bigger! Silly Nissan.

fair play fella, the front is by farrrrr the worst part of the N16's. its all us GTi folks will see, so tar for the mod haha

This'd give a standard GTi an extremely good run for it's money like.

Very very nice ED. I had to sell my N16 before I did something like this and it cost £££££ lol. You has know-how. Know-how ftw.
 
I have to say it's sketchy know-how as I'm part learning as I do this. But that's all part of the fun, the challenge :D
 
As said, I'm getting it all painted professionally as the finish and colour match will be important. I'm going to prep and primer it though so that will keep the costs down :)
 
So I've got filler, fibreglass and pre-painted (but sanded down) surfaces to paint. Is normal primer going to cut it or am I in need of Plastic Primer?

Also, anyone know what colour primer is best for KY5 Techno Grey? I used grey primer for the mud guards but the stone chips on my bumper reveal a yellow colour.

is there a perfect(ish) match with the mudguards?

if so, then the primer you used on the guards should be fine,

it depends how translucent the paint is.
