JDM doesn't have an earth in the loom does it? I had to do this just to get it to work.

Yeah I just did as Sam said, took the earth directly from the HU and ground it on the dash cross member where there is an earth point close by.

I'm going to be relocating the battery to the boot next weekend and then I'll be looking to improve the ICE, I'm wanting to build a hinged false floor so the boot is still useable and I can stil get to the spare wheel.
I know its adding more weight but this is not a track or quarter mile car, I like my creature comforts too much, I'm even keeping the air con!
 
Getting a decent elbow on the turbo and keeping aircon won't be easy. Stock pulsar stuff might be ok but it's a bit basic.
 
I'd invest in a better elbow than the standard R item. It's a bit restrictive. Nice car though. Well kept.
 
I'll be just putting the standard gtir elbow and downpipe on plus a bodged exhaust temporarily until I can get the car up to spykes man who will hopefully create something nice in 3" turbo back.

My turbo conversion list is looking healthier!

I think im going to invest in a car cover as it spends 5 days a week in the car park at work and its a very dudty environment, when its been repainted I don't want the sun fading the new paint.
 
Astonishing! Very nice... A couple of suggestions if I may...

1) Grille colour coded same as the rest of the car, AR2 isn't it? It looks like it's been taken straight from a wrecked car, transfered to a wrecked car. Since yours is not such, my suggestion strongly applies, I believe.
2) Yellow calipers. I was never fond of bold colours on them, I like colour blocking, but only with neutral colours, sometimes red.
 
Sorry you don't like the grille colour, it was one of the features that attracted me to this car so that will be staying black:) I like the way it breaks up the front of the car and compliments the black in the headlights. I looked through photos of it with a 2 slat colour coded grille and to me there was too much red.
The calipers will be coming off soon to be replaced with a larger FTO set up. I'm undecided on the colour yet.
 
Am so looking forward to seeing this car finally reach it's full potential. Get cracking!

PS. When you get those FTO calipers on I want dibs on the yellow calipers.
They will go so well with the bs7 blue :-)

Of course Stu:) I'll bring them to JAE, they should be on by then lol. I'm hoping to have all the cosmetics sorted for then too.
 
Ooh I forgot to let you know it came, work called me to say it had arrived there sounding well puzzled. Which I though was wierd, as the company I work for is one of the biggest logistics firms in Europe. And yet they were surprised that a parcel had arrived.
