Nissan Pulsar VZR N1 1.6 to 2.0 Project

You are a legend, what are you mapping it on?

Thats the mssy part! I have a daughterboard from a guy in greece the same one as 'out of sight' on the sr20 sites, currently been used in my N1 with a chip for N1.
I have a base map for the 2 litre on a spare chip. Now he reckons he can tune it by just gettting results from a dyno showing different bits but i want to get it fine tuned by someone locally after or maybe even england!
I have searched Ireland for someone that can tune these boards but there is no one. I need someone that has emulators to connect to daughterboard and then basically anyone good with sr20's!
Is there someone in england that could do this???

You seen my post on sr20-forum asking about itb's so if anything comes of that i'll be going full standalone!

I don't know, most places will only tune their own stuff...you'll have to find out what software the Greek bloke uses and ask around the tuners to see if they will tune it. You could go for Nistune and you get the sodtware with it so you can play around with it yourself or take it to someone who maps it (place in Blackpool do)

If I wen't standalone I'd use AEM, that looks pretty sweet.

it sounds to me like you need to talk to calum mate about having a cip set burned.. the only problem is he ahsn't done the actual VE ECU... if i were you id seriously look at going into stand alone expecually with the fact your after ITB's look into VEMS mate there cheap and run well on the SR engine..

the problem with the daughter boards unless you have someone who will write a map for you as you drive the car then burn it on a spare shopset and install it it will be hard to sort out..

@ Kurt

He uses Nistune i think but you can use a few different software packages, prob is i'd have to buy 2 emulators to connect to daughterboard.
Once i have them i'd be able get really any good tuner to map it, just checking to see if theres anyone around with them before i invest in them!

These are the emulators...

Id also need to get something to burn the new chips or else i can email new map file to lad in greece and he'd send me new chips!

@ Raceworx

The lad in greece i bought daughterboard off has no prob doing more chips for me, he done one for my N1 and the transformation was unreal, raised the rev limit, removed speed cut, changed vvl activation points, the car feels and pulls alot better in low revs too.

So he has no prob doing more chips for my build but i just looking into getting it fine tuned then to take into account my mods/ irish fuel/weather!

Just needs bit more support and its all good.

Went for quick little spin and im quite happy with results, didnt give it full throttle yet as i need to check air/fuel to make sure its running safe so next stop is dyno!

Started few other bits like gauges and fitting oil cooler thanks to gally helping but neither one is finished!

Had the back 3 windows tinted, not completly blacked out but close....

Haha 3"! Thats immense haha, you brave man.. Isn't that stupidly loud with decat fitted aswell?
Looks really nice anyway.. How is clearance with the rear beam looking? As mine's really tight with the 2.5" system..

Lovely looking car and that exhaust work looks top notch.

Love the look of the regamasters with the tyres. Chunky and strong looking. Whilst risking asking a question that may have been answered already...what tyres are they and sizes have you got ging there? i.e. width of wheel and profile of tyres etc :)
