Phase 2 GTi

Realistically, what do you guys think it will cost me to get this mint again?

I've been sat pondering, and I bet the biggest expense is the spraying... The parts should be easyish to get, and with a bit of help from the ALC it could be sorted quite easily?? If I can persuade a couple of you to a weekend in Lincoln :D
 
If you can get bs7 parts in good condition mate it shouldn't take to much to get her back up to a good standard :) all depends if you've lost the love or not .

Maybe searching for other stuff has made me realise how much I love mine... I just need to look at all my options, which is why I'm talking about some of us sorting it... If its going to be cheap enough then I might be silly not to? I won't get anything anywhere near as good for the money I get for this.

But obviously as you can see, I am going through a very indecisive time at the mo! But I await the insurance companies offers first!

I have a 00' Almera recently went in there for it's NCT there in March. They failed it on a spot of rust in rear door sills! nothing major.
Just wondering have you ever had same problem on your car in same place?. Had my mechanic sort it out and put car in
for a re-test and passed:Thumbs: Like I said nothing major. I have to say I've seen it on a few Almeras & it's always around the doors.. Apart from that it's a sweet little motor
 
i have a p2 bumper in my shed which when im doing ricks spraying i could spray for u as well at cost of paint i think in total for the bumper and spray it would be no more than about £50 then all you've gotta do it get it shipped ot u

edit. also have an indicator bud

Cheers dude! I shall keep that in mind as it could be an option!

Then it will just be a wing, some fixings and maybe a bonnet. (Might be able to straighten the corner of the bonnet??)
 
almera Ni5 1999 1.4 petrol use but in good working order a DISTRIBUTOR PACK this is on ebay as well

Right, the third party are going to pay me a grand, let me keep my car and not class it as any category of write off. Better than i expected!

So I am going to take it to a body shop to ask what can be repaired and what I need to replace. As repairing it looks to be my best option for now.

So I will be on the search for parts soon! Let me know what you've all got :)
 
Thats an amazing settlement! a grand and to be repaired at your discretion.
Should have enough for a FRP lightweight bonnet inc being sprayed too :)
