wasnt a bad guess hehe.

yeh i think my 60ft was 2.3, i know the car will do a 13 as it is now, i didnt get chance to try any other tyres than T1R's and couldnt get it any lower no matter what i tried

the spec was quite similar to yours:

stock 20VE bottom
stock 16VE head
SSAC 2.5" header
2.5" cat back
3" WAI
unichip Q
cars weight was 1070kg
171whp with standard 6950rpm rev limit
DE non LSD gearbox
cheap arse aftermarket taiwanese GTi clutch :lol:
 
since cam gears were set @ +3, -5:

still havent dyno but took her to the track weekend.

car is faster by @ least 2 mph

i use to get 98mph on the 1320. now getting 100mph. street tyres

didnt better my my best of 13.9 as i still havent gotten accustomed to short shifter installed recently.

this is a 14.2 pass - if you can see anything really.

not a lot has happened since my last meet.

the magnaflow muffler drum was getting too loud (guess it's done) so i got a second hand dynomax installed. much quieter

a friend of mine going to boost his vvl so he opted for a swap of cams. so i gave him my sr16ve non n1 cams with some $$$ for his n1 cams. installed them the day after i got them - last saturday.

cam gear settings now: intake 0, exhaust -3

car feels strong but not yet tuned. currently running off a friend's tune. he has +5, -5 settings.

raced him last night and he kicked my teeth by a fender

good news, can't wait to hear the difference the N1 cams make. which ecu and which daughterboard are you using?

i am using nissan sentra sr20de ecu with calum daughterboad and sst 27c512 chips

my friend tune for me using tuner pro and moates chip burner

i use an evil vtec controller to control vvl

no, i was using std sr16 cams, not n1. so are you saying that she should get faster? :devil:

i love the low lobes on the n1 cams though.

and up top they feels great too

cant wait to get springs and rev to 9000rpm

revving to 8500rpm now on stock springs

Depending on how much time you have I would try a Honda b series eBay tri-y header with whatever you need from a SSAC 4-2-1 header. Failing that I would buy a X-Force 4-2-1 header from AUS, JMR 20VE 4-1 header or ASP budget header. Anything else available is just mer

thanks man.

i have been referred to the tri-y header before. i will look into it again. any dyno figure of the the tri-y versus ssac, impul or fuji?

due to my road conditions, i 4-1 is almost out of the question.

any pics of the X-Force? any dyno figures?
