STOLEN 99' Spec Almera GTi

GTi wheels all cleaned up, didn’t spend too much time on them as they’d be put away till the winter anyways. they've pitted quite babdly on the inside as the last owner had them out side for about 4 years eek


Billberry wheel cleaner
Wheel brushes
5:1 apc for the tyres
Megs foaming spray head
Megs scratchX
AG HD wax

Also gave the wheel nuts a hit with turtle wax metal polish

On to the under body, front panel and arches

Calipers cleaned up and arch liners treated with trim gel

NSF wheel arch

Detailing brush to get in and around the small bolts

All washed and dryed ready for undersealing

Minimal dirty coming of the arch liners now

same for the OSF wheel arch 3:1 apc and CYC foam sprayer

Agitated with brush to loosen up the muck

NSR wheel arch all mucky and in need of some loving.

still clean inside

HEL lines fitted front & rear along with dot 5.1 fluid, all lines came apart with a clean up and brake pipe spanner unk:

egr port blocked off and later smooth'd

key'd the complete header and downpipe in the same way

time to remove that nasty step

chance for a wee clean up

better at least

oh its OCD, whatever i drive its going to be fcuking CLEAN at least. all it takes is effort at the end of the day, some folks like to go to football matches in the cold for a couple hours watching rich folks run around on grass, gamble, others to spend hours & hours fishing only to throw their catch back? nothing wrong with the above, but i like to clean cars

beacuse ive fitted cat back, header, cams and pulleys in a short space of time the extra Go is a big difference. i have a noticeable flat spot around 3k which might be related to the ignition timing as i haven't check'd or adjusted it since fitting the cams. could be 15* or 10* for all i know, does need looking at mind.

between subframe bolts or the arb mount, either is fine.
