I've just spoiled myself with set of GoodYear Eagle F1's 195/45/17. Got them on ebay for 68 quid +20 postage + 30 fitting and balancing = 118 pounds. Sold my good condition but crap 205/40 Nankangs for 65 so my upgrade costed me only 50 quid!
Car handles a lot better but other reason to change tyres was that I could not listen to my CD on 40 profile! Now it's much better, CD skips only on bigger bump/holes.
The difference in the 45 and 40 is not mm unless im talkin out my as the second number on a tyre size (40,45,50 etc) is actually a % of the first number.
